We need some more awesome up in here!
Oct. 3rd, 2009 08:56 pmWhich, of course, means it's time for a Marvel Adventures: Avengers dump of...uh... roughly 20 pages or so from 14 issues. First off, we have the MA:A appearance of the ones, the onlies, the Agents of Atlas!
So, Kang screws up the timeline by convincing the 50's G-Men to go find Captain America. A handful of the Avengers who didn't get arrested go back in time to convince Jimmy and the others that Kang's a tool, which gives us this.

They decide to leave Cap where he is and let time go as it's supposed to... 'Cept Ken.

And now, some assorted bits.

(Clearly, all we need is to expose more psycho brain-absorbing robots to Captain America. Ultron would end up helping little old ladies cross the street, yes?)

(The "Snikt snikt snikt snikt snikt" had me in tears.)

And, finally, a little ditty I like to call "Defeat By Squishing!"

Luke's mother never fails to entertain
Date: 2009-10-04 04:55 am (UTC)Any mother that can put the fear of God into a super-being deserves more exposure in the comics.
And Adaptoid absorbing Steve's sense of honor and duty was wonderful.

Date: 2009-10-04 05:33 am (UTC)This version of Spiderman's a million times better than the one they're pushing in the mainstream Marvel universe. See, that's how you do it.

SEAGOON: Bloodnok, stop! It hurts me the way you're hitting him.
BLOODNOK: Why?
SEAGOON: You're hitting him with me.

Date: 2009-10-04 10:18 pm (UTC)Marvel Adventures is so much awesome
Date: 2009-11-12 02:45 am (UTC)...and ha, that pose in Defeat by Squishing, that's how you do T&A that's actually natural looking and therefore actually hot.
...and damn, I love how witty everything is.
Is the "I can see Asgard from here" a subtle poke of "I can see Russia from my house"?
