I JUST finished watching this episode like an hour ago and laughed my head off the entire time. I got to the part where Hank and Captain Sunshine were flying around and I was like, "Hmm, that Sunshine guy's voice sounds really famili- OH MY GOD." And then I laughed out loud so hard I had to cover my mouth to keep from scaring my dogs. The whole episode was glorious. "WONDERBOOOOOOOOOY!!!!"

Venture Bros. is a really spectacular cartoon, that combines perfectly on-point love and mockery of pop culture in the superpowers/superscience vein with.. 'alternative', maybe, sensibilities, and a sense of humor that purports to be about "failure" but I find to actually be about dark optimism and never quiiite giving up.

It's way male-centric, but good enough that I really love it anyway.

(I don't live in the US either, though!)

I'm trying to figure out why a guy named "Captain Sunshine" has rainbows on his uniform when rainbows are named "RAINbows" for a reasons not associated with the sun.

And how Kevin Conroy could say his lines without busting a gut, I'll never know. =)
