Earless cowl is still not working for me at all, still think "ew" at every panel. How about a pair of dark amber bird wings, kind of like Hawkman but not so large? Or cut the top off so his hair is showing, like Impulse? Something.

Why the fuck should he? Hasn't he paid enough for choosing to be Robin? I'm not 100% enjoying his storyline, but fuck it, he just gets screwed backwards and forwards by everything - so now he's stopped being the friendly neighborhood Robin, which was someone else's doing mostly - he doesn't owe anyone a goddamn thing.

I like that Tim's series is all about him globetrotting all on his own, all over the world with nary a soul to help him...and then there's all these crossovers where someone with superpowers zooms over and is all "hey help me out, man", and he's all "dang it, ok" and then they fly back to the states, solve some mysteries, fight some crime, and then they fly Tim back to wherever so he can brood.

I really love Tim, but I'm impressed the way he's pushing it even with me. "I don't help people anymore! I'm do what Batman and Robin should do...which is not help people!"

I almost felt like Chris should have commented on his grumpiness.

Also, I love that for some reason the Superman family are the only people who get to hear Tim say anything about his quest for Batman. To his own family he just yells that he can't be dead. To these guys he's like, "Oh, see, I've got this theory and look...proof!"

Thara and Chris will never stop being creepy, Greg Rucka (the guy who writes them in Action) when asked about this said in a podcast something about there being a "difference between emotional maturity and intellectual" I can't remember the whole thing but still...Ugh it doesn't sit well with me..

And yes child Chris was awesome and I so wanted him to team up with Damian and be the mini World's Finest, but I guess that won't happen anymore.

I think it's sweet how Chris goes to look for the one person he knows, I mea he could have gotten Dick but he knew Tim so he went to look for him specifically.

I hated Tim being an ass to Chris, he was all "OMG HEY! LOVE" when he thought it was Conner but then he saw Chris and went to grumpy mode. Seriously, is Tim going to be a douche to everyone that is not Superboy? And you'd think he would at least be a bit nice to Chris since he pretty much bonded with him for a little while.

Because Lois and Clark are awesome. Also, because they're an established couple that people like, so fans are okay with their awesome, magical love powers. Chris/Thara is still developing and really shouldn't try saving the world with their love for a while yet.

The Geoff Johns/Richard Donner "Last Son" storyline. It was delayed a lot but now that it's collected it reads pretty well. Little Chris also appeared in other stories (like Busiek's run in Superman and cameos in Superman/Batman) while the "Last Son" delays were happening.

The worst thing is we all know what's going to happen. Rucka's already said that Chris will rapidly age again soon and if that keeps going on the only options are a) he dies or b) they ship him back to the Phantom Zone like they'll do with Mon-El and maybe he'll get out in the Legion era. There's noway he'll survive as Nightwing.
