A webcomic done by Gurihiru, a Japanese artist team best known for their work on POWER PACK, it's a very irreverent take on the Marvel Universe, if the characters all lived in the same apartment building.

A giant-sized three parter, and my favorite part of the series.

Byclops finally gets a drop of love after an ocean of hate. Next week - hate!

Translation notes at my blog. Part 8 next, going into the home stretch!

I assumed that Prof X and Magneto were the same person here, running another hotel room just to mess with Byclops and teach him a lesson at the same time.

This Nom nom should just start saying Bro too. Makes me wonder if he's bro's with Spidey-man and Deadpoo.

You know, I think delinquents in anime call you "bro" when they shake you down for money. So it would make sense.

Granted, I haven't watched anime in a while, so I may be misremembering.

I thought passive agressive smacktalk where natural for all hoodlums in fiction. The distinction being in how language works ofcourse.

Or the basic badguy equivalent that is to call your foe by their last name.

Well, yakuza goons, and I guess regular gangsters, often call their superiors "Aniki," which literally means "big brother," but as it's very informal, it often gets dubbed/translated as "bro."

So Byclops = Godai, Jeannix =Kyoko, Woolby = Soichiro (the dog), Spidey = Yotsuya-san
