Date: 2009-03-23 10:59 pm (UTC)You'll note they didn't have any trouble getting Ted for Batman the Brave and the Bold. So what changed in the past four years or so that they could get him now and not then?

Date: 2009-03-23 11:12 pm (UTC)I suppose the same is true for the Plastic Man copyright then.
Still, CN could have done more to get the rights, I mean they work for the WB, they got lawyers, they should be able to muscle the rights for Blue Beetle and Plastic Man out of an old kids show and an old radio show.

"Who's the best, the beautiful green one? Who? Audrey Two!
Who's a star, if ever I've seen one? Who? Audery Two"
And then continues in rhythmic prose for another couple of panels, which to me screams that it's
The most recent Broadway production soundtrack includes more "lost songs" from the movie and show than I've heard before (Audrey Two's "Bad" which is sort of a precursor to "Mean Green Mother", Audrey's "The more he loves me" a painfully depressing lovesong about her abusive relationship with Orin, "A Little Dental Music" which is supposed to be for the dentists waiting room, and Orin's "I found a hobby" a precursor to "Dentist!" which details how he developed his taste for pain) but nothing which seems to link to the comic text...
