I may be misjudging the character, correct me if I am, but...it really doesn't seem like Guy would need a huge amount of provocation to become a Red Lantern.

Yeah, I was gonna say, what I like most about this is that Guy Gardner becoming a Red Lantern really DOESN'T REQUIRE THE CHARACTER TO CHANGE IN ANY WAY. It'd be like if I was made the MILF-Hunter Lantern of Earth sector; you wouldn't even NEED an origin story.

When they were showing Black Lantern vision on Oa there was one red spot lit up representing rage. And it wasn't that Red Lantern who was let loose a few issues ago.

It has continually been hinted that Oa will be destroyed during this war, and thus Mogo becomes the survivor's home base. I would LOVE to see Guy be the one survivor of the Oan holocaust and thats what costs him his green for red.

Also I also would love to see Guy bring the Reds over to the side of angels by showing how to control the rage. Hell back in Rebirth they laid the ground work. It was said that Guy has the most Will out of the 4 earthers, and that it is always trying to escape and thus his ring "leaks" willpower.

And I would love to see Tora bring him back into his own mind. Of course as much as he is my favorite Lantern. I see Guy not surviving the war, I think it is his time to sacrifice himself for the true Heroes ending he has so long deserved the chance to take.
