Electro's new look might work (since, you know, it's not going to stick anyway so it's not a big deal for me), but the lightning bolts on his face need to be more pronounced. Make them yellow, or electric blue.

And I still prefer Sandman as a good guy.

I'm on the fence on whether Sandman should be a villain or a hero. On on hand, I loved his redemption arc, but on the other he's just one of the coolest members of Spidey's rogues gallery and -- when written well -- one of the most dangerous.

Some years ago, someone rewrote the "Spider-Man scriptment" making Electro and Sandman closer to their comic book counterparts. IIRC, Electro showed up in his traditional yellow and green costume for the Big Fight because "respected businessman Max Dillon" wouldn't be seen anywhere near a big superhero battle.

The two issues aren't related. One's the end of the Electro arc, the other's the beginning of the Sandman arc.

This is mostly my own fanon, but I've always imagined the Spidey villains that aren't related to Osborn or Venom to be rather buddy-buddy with each other. The Sinister Syndicate certainly were and everybody used to hang out at the Bar With No Name, so there is that.

Neat! I've recently reread some old Spider-Man and realized that I kind of hate Spidey (imho, he's a bit of a douche even prior to BND), but do care an awful lot about his villains, so this just might be the story for me, after about a decade or so of not giving a crap.
Now all they need to do is get Quentin a new body and go on a Sinister Six Reunion tour.
