Drinking the local water when traveling is pretty much always a bad idea (that's why they tell tourists to, y'know, not drink the water), so I don't think it was meant as a jab...

Why is that, anyways?

Basically, every place has bacteria that have evolved differently, and can also have a fairly different mineral content. (This also includes the common cold on occasion. When I moved to the UK for awhile I got sick rather frequently).

To be fair, that water probably had chupacabra pee in it.

When I crossed the border to Juarez for a couple fun-filled hours, the border guard told me not to drink the water. Is that not really a thing? Or does it vary?

Rule of thumb:

Don't drink tap water (it's not drinkable without purifying it), and don't drink water from corner taco stands. Or eat there. Unless you know the guy and know he's good. :p

I'm totally not kidding here.

Part of the problem is that pretty much all of America drinks heavily purified water. Even tap water has been treated with chlorine or whatever at some point. We, on the other hand... don't drink that much purified water. Sure, there's bottles, but most of the water sold here (in huge gallons or whatever) is cleaned but not exactly purified to the same extent that it is in the US.

I've always thought that American water is, frankly, pretty nasty. The purification process used by our local bottling plants leaves behind minerals which give the water a certain... taste. These minerals are not present in American purified water. I don't believe that our water is in any way filled with bacteria, but I guess we're used to the minerals, and since Americans aren't, Montezuma takes his revenge upon you folks. ;p

I certainly HOPE so!

It could be their new slogan, in fact. HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS: Follow them, and you'll be more like Batman.

I left that post then checked the other two uploads so far today and realized that the Purge: Seconds to Die title of one fit this post as well. What a confusing coincidence.

Hrm...looking at the eyes and noses, this is Craig Rousseau, isn't it? Which would explain the chupacabra looking like Choopie, but boy does his art look different with this colouring than the style they use on Perhapanauts.

Yeah...I probably wouldn't have figured it out without the Choopie cameo.

But since I <3 the Choopster, I noticed him, and could therefore see the shapes of the noses and eyes.

Bobby ought to go to ice form. That might help. Though this is before he turned himself to solid ice, isn't it?

I'm pretty sure that's just how they draw Bobby's thin ice armor in this series.

It's better than the snowman.

It makes one wonder: did they take off their spandexes fast enough? Cuz those costumes are really tight.
