Four Scans of the sequel to Purge.

A relative to Jedi Master Plo Koon, Sha Koon, come's out of hiding to challenge Darth Vader to be Palpatine's apprentice. How did she survive? Well she was in the Jedi Library and passed out when Plo bought it. She then wake's up and beats a retreat and stays on the run for a bit. She hides underneath the sewer system of the Jedi Temple. Back to her challenge of course it's accepted. After Vader dispatchs some sewer dwellers we arrive to the main event:

She lands a couple good blows on Vader.

Of course it doesn't end there. She is witness to one last vision. What is that vision? Well.. go get the book. I'm quite surprised at seeing this at my LCS. I thought what the heck. First one was awesome.

I know they're not badly drawn or anything here (infact the art is rather nice) but for some reason the idea that in order to be an alien chick you need a pair of perky boobs (despite obviously non-mammalian)kinda wierds me out, especially here. They just don't seem to fit. :S

Pretty badass comic though. :D

Oh god, I so agree with the boobs thing. Especially considering how "alien" er head is in comparison to the rest of her body.

It's like "lalala cool alien lalala" *BAM* "BOOOBS!!" "Whut?"

There's gotta be more creative ways to differantiate sexes in alien species.

To the (other) black hole of the internet! (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NonMammalMammaries)

Please don't kill me...

We should also take in consideration that most sentient alien species that people encounter are bipedal

Even on Earth that's an aberration. There are countless more six limbed life forms on Earth than there ever are four limbed, fewer still which walk on two and use two exclusively for manipulation.

Just as bad as the "Tales from Jabba's Palace" story where Yarna (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Yarna_d%27al%27_Gargan) the heavily built female is revealed to be a sleek, slim female who was just storing a lot of water internally because Tatooine was a dry planet, and the male character on the story only became attracted to her when she was slim. How pleasant would it have been to have her BE big, and still be sexy?

Heh. James Cameron admitted to adding boobs to the main female protagonist of Avatar despite the fact it didn't make sense for her species to have them, all because "she's got to have tits" (his exact words).

....Vader kills again. Woo frelling hoo. And everyone still buys the fact that he's so easily redeemed in ROTJ that we can just wipe his slate clean of all the decades worth of murder and genocide he's been a part of. I didn't even need to think about what was going to happen to Sha Koon when I saw this comic. A woman actually taking the center stage in a Star Wars story? Ya, that'll last. I love how even in her vision she actually admits to herself that she's useless and that it's going to be the 'son', not the siblings who brings back the Jedi.

This comic sucks. Not because the story or art is bad, but because it reflects what I've come to expect from Star Wars. Women have no place in the leading role of any Star Wars story and nobody really cares. The only thing that seems to really matter is how many people Vader gets a chance to murder.

To be fair, Vader does take out the Emperor, a man of greater evil in order to save his son, which in the end demolishes the entire Empire.

Oh really? Thrawn didn't seem to think so. Nor did Palpatine's Clone.

I can't remember which book it was, but even Luke admitted that act of goodness didn't make up for a lifetime of evil.

'Cause when you think Star Wars, you think "Murder! Yippee!"

I wish it didn't have to come to that, but why else would anyone want to read this? This story has been done before.
