Oooh, Proteus. He was always pretty creepy. That cover is really nice, too. I'm still sighing about the whole Magneto storyline because you know they are just going to turn him "bad" again. I'm starting to think he's bipolar or something with the way he switches sides constantly.

Was that pun intentional?

And dare I hope that the top-secret story from Nation X involves Cyclops finally doing something about rescuing Kitty from that damn bullet?

And as xdoop said, they seem to be dealing with Kitty in SWORD. Plus I think Cyclops and the rest of the X-Men basically think that she is dead.

I'm glad someone hasn't forgotten her. I swear, if someone asked Cyclops about her, he'd answer, "Kitty? Who is this 'Kitty' of whom you speak?"

I hope that if/when SWORD decides to take action on the matter, they at least tell Piotr. "Hey, Big Guy, we're going out to save your girlfriend, you coming with?"

I can't take Magneto seriously anymore. Ever since "The Revenge Society", I can only equate Magneto as a villain with all the stature of that show's Fantomas, and I'd bet that it would make a lot of sense for him to make his Brotherhood play as back-up to his sousaphone practice. And I bet he'd be awful.

Unless Magneto's plotting somethign that reverses M-Day, and he succeeds, I don't care.

Which pretty much sums up my continued attitude to the X-books, with the exception of some individual stories (vaguely interested in some of the Nation X stories, but don't know if it'll be enough to get me to pick up the book, and New Mutants is the last comic I buy at the moment).

That Dark X-men cover is beautiful, I love Mike Choi and Sonia Oback.

Sweet I knew that Muir Island meant Proteus! Though I could have sworn 616 Proteus was already resurrected in Exiles during M-Day. He killed a few of them and took over Morph.

I really like Armor, she has a great visual. I wish she appeared regularly in something other than Astonishing. And hopefully Anole isn't too traumatized by this latest jaunt to Limbo, that PTSD he got from the last trip nearly completely turned me off the character. And is it just me or are they actively trying to make Magik look like a crazy villainess?
