I love how, while his cape's just hanging down, his shadow is widespread, in the Batman's iconic pose.

It's like it's got a mind of its own!

That used to be a pretty common thing, actually - Batman would be doing just any ol' thing, and regardless of whether it made the slightest bit of sense, he would be casting a DRAMATIC BAT-SHAPED SHADOW. It didn't matter if he himself was in some weird position that would normally only cast a sort of anonymous shadow-blob, or if he were somewhere with NO AMBIENT LIGHT SOURCES WHATSOEVER, that shadow would be on the wall a-posin' away.
