Captain America for president?

So once, a third party policital hack met Captain America and leaked a rumor that Cap would run for President:

In the end, he decides that the Presidency is part of a system that requires compromise, and he prefers to portray an uncompromising ideal.

That guy probably also thinks the moon landings were faked. "I've never been to the moon, how do I know anyone else has?" Of course, by his logic, how does he know France exists, if he's never been to France. "France is just a plot by the CIA to make us eat snails and fish eggs!"
