I always found it interesting that Jor-El, knowing the end is coming, was basically saving the lives of Krypton's worst criminals. Or, from another angle, condemning them to endless imprisonment, since there'd be nobody to free them. I have to wonder how smart he really was.

Of course they have coffee, they're scientifically advanced. If coffee didn't grow naturally there, they'd synthesize it.

I posted this earlier. I like how everyone wanted tho "the last Superman story". Look how much came out of this story, The phantom zone made crazy people worse,the control crystal, and the idea that Krypton's Political elite was less than wholesome.

I love their lighthouse bedroom -- but I'd make it the living room or the study, or at least have curtains to close at night.

Kinda creepy - Phantom Zone criminals r n ur bedroom watchin' u while u ... uh, try to sleep off a fever.


And don't mess with Lara. Jor got off lucky, her fingernails are really pointy. XD

I find myself too distracted by the random color changes of the narration boxes. They don't seem to denote a change in voice or mood or anything. Just some strange artist's compulsion that won't let them keep the same color from one panel to the next. Why?
