Prior to the episode Deep Freeze Victor thought that she had died when those guys messed with her cryo tube, but in reality they'd kept it going to see what wouth happen. When GothCorp went bust (presumably after Heart of Ice) the Disney-ish billionaire Grant Walker got Nora and her tube when they were buying up the bankrupt company's stock.
