Why you shouldn't worry too much about science in comics

The comic is from Nukees, which is a long running webcomic about U.C. Berkeley Nuclear Engineering grad students. (It also features a giant robot ant.)

It's worth noting that the comment is very much in character for the person who is making it. (Among other things, he likely doesn't know there is a superhero called Elastic Man, or that the superhero in question was based off of Plastic Man.)
