I know, right? And that line "You, of all people, should share in my despair, to lose so much family blood!" did a lot to foreshadow stories that are only being told now! It's a shame to think that Rucka's been sitting on these plots for three years, but I'm glad he's finally getting them out!

Also, Kate and Manya are clearly close at least (Kate takes too many liberties for her to just be some bookseller she knows), but am I the only person who misread her as being Kate's grandma the first few times I read it? I kind of wish she'd come back in a future story.
