Anyone notice how the illustration of the 'Americana Hero' looks conspicuously yummier than the actual recipe? I mean, maybe it's just 'cause I don't like mustard, so I doubt that I'd appreciate that sandwhich in any case, but still - look at that hero sandwich Cap's holding. Doesn't that look good? Let's see, there's lettuce... tomatoes... what is that he's munching on, a meatball? So, OK, a meatball sub with lettuce and tomatoes; that doesn't sound too bad. From my limited experience with such things, there's probably a cheese sauce, too - mmm. Instead, if we follow the recipe, we'll get a ham and cheese (BOILED ham, no less - vas is das 'boiled ham'? That sounds DISGUSTING!) sub spread with a margarine-mustard (I'd change that to butter, but it still doesn't sound good) mixture and put in the oven wrapped in foil. (I call shenanigans! Don't wrap the damn thing in foil; preheat the oven to broil while you're making the sandwich, and put it under the broiler for two or three minutes - that'll melt the cheese, anyway.) How does Captain America get a delicious meatball sub while enforcing this ham and cheese margarine-mustard thing on us? IT"S NOT FAIR!
That being said, Dr. Strange's stew actually sounds pretty good, and the muffin recipe sounds all right. I'm hungry for more! (Actually, now I'm just hungry, period.)
