The Spanish Inquisition rejected this very couch in favour of the comfy chair because the couch was too inhumanly comfy, and anyway the couch refused to have anything to do with their tyrannical regime.
Whenever Squirrel Girl is in the neighbourhood, she and the couch regard each other for a long moment, and Squirrel Girl gives a single solemn nod acknowledging their deep bond of mutual respect.
