Steph continues to look gorgeous in purple tones. What an epic cover! She's a bit thin, but that's just me being nitpicky. Look at the fabulous lighting on the rain!

Honestly if DC can keep Artgerm on their payroll they will have one of the best cover artists ever. Guy has dozens of styles and they are all good.

I was just taking a look at his gallery! he's rather good, but I do have to say I'm a little apprehensive at how he's going to draw Steph...not too sexy (at least, not as sexy as his Pepper character), but judging by the cover, he seems to have the sexiness balanced nicely with Steph's naturally tough demeanor

I like the Batgirl cover - even if I still can't use to the eggplant.

So we're into April with the solicits - One quarter of the way into 2010 and no sign of a certain Cassandra Cain in the Bat-book or out of them. I really think DC's supposed "big plans" for Cass in 2010 (which Didio said was coming in the same DC Nation page that announced Steph as Batgirl) was all smoke and mirrors. At this rate, she might as well be Jean-Paul Valley and DC pretends she never existed.

The JSA: All-Stars with Courtney's "intimate" moment with a team-mate which is a "BIG" mistake sounds like some kind of messing around with Atom Smasher. God, I hate that ship. I really thought the Sturges would drop it.

As for the Batman books, doesn't it seem like they're all in a holding pattern until the "Search" for you know who begins? None of these solicits are exciting at all - I mean Tim has some proof Bruce is alive and he's back in Gotham and yet he's still fighting with the Batcrew? C'mon, already.

Yeah, I rolled my eyes a bit at the "first he has to get through Gotham's protectors!" I would hope that "get through" them means something like:

Dick: Hold on there. What are doing with that weapon-looking thi...Tim?

Tim: It's me. I'm back. I've got a lot together. But Ra's is here targetting people.

Dick: Tell me what you need us to do.

Damian: I don't see why we should listen to...
