Hopefully, these are just representatives of titles included in the Heroic Age and not anything like a new Avengers line up.

To be fair, Ken might be included just because of that axiom that if you put an ape on the cover of a comic book, it automatically sells more copies.

But yeah, given that I count 4 Avengers of the classic stripe and two characters that have been part of a splinter team for years, maybe someone could have saved room for Susan Richards in that composition. I'd say she's definitely more of an iconic character than Hawkeye.

Since this is obviously not the actual line up of the Avengers. If there is going to be a new team I want to see Spidey, Jessica Drew, Luke Cage, Natasha, Bucky, Thing and of course Hank Pym in hall high holy creepy glory to be part of it. Of course, logically thinking about Marvel and it's sleazy higher ups at least half of them won't be in it. I wouldn't be surprised if the above picture is the new Avenger's line-up.

Well, I'm sure a lot of people will be happy that Clint seems to be going back to the Hawkeye costume/name.

And I just gotta say that unless Beast is going through yet another mutation then that is some major art fail on him. Not only does he look like an odd cross between his original furry self and the new cat version, but he has five fingers on each hand while he currently only has four.

I don't think anyone is ever going to draw Beast the same again?! Sometimes he looks like a cat. Sometimes a donkey. Sometimes an ape. Sometimes his old form with a :3 on the face. Yesh!

And the freaking Gorilla gets on the cover, but no Ms Marvel? Or Storm? Marvel always likes rolling her out when they need to show that they have a diverse section of characters in their line up.

I liked the "Sublime" version of the Beast they had. He was EVIL, but he looked like a white tiger and was a bit of a bad-ass. Then he lost his head. Ouch.

You could almost see this being an Avengers lineup, apart from Ben and Ken, and the lack of women. The three guys on the far left are tokens representing their respective franchishes (insofar as Atlas is a franchise, ie, not very), one expects.

The new Iron Man armour has too many lights on it.

Oh, also because this is a Bendis title and there's no Luke Cage or Spider-Woman; no way he drops both of them from the team while he's writing it (I could see Jess, maybe, since she has her own Bendis-written title now, but not Luke).
