I really loved World's Finest, I now want Superman/Batman to turn into a Bat/Super Family comic written by Sterling Gates.

You know reading through this, all I could think was "heh, icon_uk is probably going to love this", "the Oracle/BOP fans are probably going to have a field day of the notion of Babs looking into General Lane", "someone is probably going to comment on the art and Dick's looks", etc.

Among other things, I like what was done with Toyman in this issue. The "I can make a duplicate of myself that can fool Superman" scene is something that was needed ever since Johns' revamp of Toyman came out.

Wasn't that actually stated in Johns Toyman story? The only reason he built the toys was to fool Superman.

Yeah this was a pretty good issue, it had Damian and Stephanie snark, a bunch of Dick and Clark moments, Dick taking care of a Kryptonite poisoned Kara, Kara lecturing Damian. Yes I loved everything, especially Dick and Clark because they work so well with each other.

This and the panels and pages in this post, If Bruce is Dick's dad then Clark is like his uncle. But unlike with Kara where Bruce is the weird uncle, Clark is that cool uncle who you like to hang out with and the person who you turn to when your in bad terms with your rents (or when you're too afraid to ask them something).

They can't be being monitored or Supes wouldn't openly call Dick by his first name and obviously Dick knows who Clark is and who he's married to so what is this "a man on Earth named Sam Lane" (a man known to be Lois Lane's father) as if he's just some guy and not Clark's father-in-law. It's just weird.

Yeah, that line only works if Superman assumes Dick doesn't know that he's Clark, or has forgotten who Clark is married to.

Clark is going to have some serious second thoughts about Bruce coming back. World's Finest - Superman and Nightwing, while Bruce is alone in the mansion until the Jokerz chase a kid up to his front gate. When does Dick get to call him Clark instead of Superman?

Well I like it. Though I have to say, from Jesse Quick's new uniform to Clark's Kryptonian outfit and Ray's Indigo Tribe suit, for every suit I like, I've met an equal amount of people who dislike it and like it on the same community.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I dislike the 'aw shucks' art style. They look like shiny, geometric 1950s screen idols. And Dick has an almost Adam West look going on. Maybe the those are all artistic choices for this series. Trying to hearken back to older stuff. Dunno.

Kara and Damian would make a cute team though.

I'm just happy that CLOTHES LOOK LIKE CLOTHES for once instead of Body paint and the two female characters have enough room for internal organs in their body and not to mention the facial expressions, body language, etc.

World's Finest ended this week, World of New Krypton ends next week, and Superman/Batman assumed a dumb new direction in January. I'm gonna miss you, Superman franchise! Lemme know when you kick Robinson out of the driver's seat!

Robinson will probably go when Mon-El does, which will be a sad thing for me because I actually enjoyed his run in Superman with Mon-El (But not with Clark). Now Cry for Justice and other stuff that is not Starman/Shade, Uggghhhh.

Superman/Batman should have Sterling Gates writing it, and he should make it a Superman and Batman family book! it would be sweet.

I'm reading this and thinking of that one shot of Dick's face when he meets Superman the first time. He's struggling not to make that Golly gee whiz! expression even here. This is like his dream come true, working with Clark, just two grown-ups.
