Looks like Charlie's swapped the cape and her old gloves for some biker-ish-looking gear? Also note what looks like a Wonder Woman pin on the vest.

And Black Alice! I wonder if their turning out to be long-lost sisters or whatever is going to be addressed.

OTOH, I'm not really that excited about BoP. I'm happy for the fans and all and I guess it's mainly disinterest but I feel as though this will turn out to be another case of a famous writer who wrote the defining run of a character or team and some time later they return again to once again write the character or team they helped define and it turns out to be mediocre or bad.

My favorite part is the band-aid on her cheek. Misfit's my second favorite redheaded orphan named Charlie who knows Huntress.

Mind you, I think she said in one of her interviews that maybe they'd be a crossover at some point.

One thing I do wonder about this scene... Babs is rich as fuck, and Helena wears $600 jeans. Charlie can afford impressive clothing, and has a resource on hand who knows exactly what clothing qualifies.

I mean, sure, Babs would probably not buy her anything ridiculous, but sixty bucks is enough to get you a couple reasonably trendy shirts, and Babs herself grew up in a single-civil-servant-income household, so I can't see her not anticipating and wanting to help Charlie avoid this kind of teasing.

I do totally think Charlie would get in a ton of fights, though. Just... this seems like not the most likely reason.

Charlie! Misfit coming back makes me so happy, you can't even imagine. I hope they actually acknowledge and give resolution to the unacceptable "abandoning Charlie by note" mess. I trust Gail to do so though :)

Considering she's hanging with Black Alice, part of me's thinking this is for Secret Six, not Birds of Prey.

Right, I'm thinking that too. Especially since many people are thinking Nicola is going to go to WW, now that Aaron Lopresti is moving on (as Gail announced at the CBR boards). That leaves an opening for a Secret Six penciller but since technically Misfit and Black Alice were both created/premiered in BoP they could qualify for BoP characters for descriptive purposes.

I think they should resolve --not that it's the highest priority, I think Cass needs attention more-- how Misfit and Steph will get along, since they're both wearing the batlogo now.

How about three Batgirls -- Cass, Charlie & Steph = Kathy, Rocky & Sonia? ... Nah, on second thought, I'm still with Team Spoiler.

At any rate, thanks for the scans of Charlie! I've been wanting to know more about her; I liked her from the sound of her, and reading descriptions you and others have made in the comments above has been great. I really do want to see her in the new BoP.
