Date: 2010-02-04 12:00 am (UTC)Pretty much *exactly* the comment I was going to make, save for the color. I find the muted palate works much better than the neon-garish one of, say, LOVERS AND MADMEN.
I think we have Sienkiewicz to thank for that. He's one of those few inkers who regularly seems to improve pencil work (I'm also thinking about how beautifully he worked with Dan Jurgens in that Poison Ivy/Clayface story in NO MAN'S LAND).
