I'd argue that the not insane with love steroids version of Cupid might actually be a decent character (for example, she'd work well as a member of Suicide Squad doing a search for redemption thing.) Kreisberg did leave a new villain (with a ridiculous bizarre origin and a hideous pun for a name), but did it in such a way that nobody ever has to write that villain.
