You know what I liked about this issue? There was mentioning of a Grell Road. Way to make a honorable mention of one of the main writers of the character in the past.

It's clear that most of Kreisberg's background with the characters is via Grell. It's also clear that he missed part of what made Grell work, or that there's been other issues featuring those characters.

I liked that Kreisberg cleaned up his mess. I'd argue that the not insane with love steroids version of Cupid might actually be a decent character (for example, she'd work well as a member of Suicide Squad doing a search for redemption thing.) Kreisberg did leave a new villain (with a ridiculous bizarre origin and a hideous pun for a name), but did it in such a way that nobody ever has to write that villain.
