Can the new immortal Green Lantern and the legendary Marine help Kyle Rayner suppress the growing threat within their ranks?

Tomasi is jumping to a new GL: Emerald Warriors title featuring Guy Gardner and Kilowag (and possibly others.) Johns gets to play with Hal, Carol, Sinestro, and his new creations in the main title, and Bedard gets to do more space epic stuff that he can tie in with R.E.B.E.L.S. and gets to write Kyle, John, and Ganthet (and probably others as well; I assume Soranik's in this book.) I don't know how Kyle or John fans will feel about this.

Syaf did Blackest Night: Batman and the Phantom Stranger tie in.

Also also, great call making John a main character in GLC. It's like Johns and Tomasi have had no idea what to do with the character.

Now that Guy's got his own series, John and Kyle have the potential for being a great pair, along with Ganthet (who hopefully won't be the default leader, as it'd be interesting to see a Guardian reduced to the level of a regular Lantern, but that probably won't happen).

Oh yeah, definitly looking foward to this. John was a major supporting charcter for most of Kyle's run on the main GL book, but you never really got to see the two kicking ass together as Green Lanterns. Even better, all four Earth GL's will be front and centre.

Here's a question though. If John has joined the honor guard and is therefore likely to be based off Oa, and Guy is off having his own adventures, who's gonna be Hal's partner as the other 2814 GL?

And while we're at it, where's Ganthet get a ring? I thought the one's he and the other Earth heroes and villains got were supposed to be emergency 24 hour rings.

Hm, I'd prefer Tomasi on Corps. Bedard's not bad, but he hasn't been able to carry a book as well and Tomasi's run has been good and he really gets Kyle and the various new lanterns well. I'd rather Bedard try out the new book.


Also? Dex-Starr is awesome!

Is there any significance to Dex-Starr's name? Evey time I read it I'm reminded of Dex-Cool, which ironically enough was a redish color and induced rage for alot of people.
