Instead of explaining why I'm posting scans of DC Showcase #59 (1965), I'll let the teaser pic speak for itself...

... yep. More music, a weird rock band, 'hip language' and some things that just don't work that way behind the cut.
Actually I wanted to demand a drinking game for every try to use cool language, but we probably wouldn't even survive the first narrator's text then.

I can't decide what's the most hilarious, the 'babe', the board or the bike... their names are Joe, Jill and Jack btw.

(I seriously want Aqualad's tv.) Of course, a boy with a letter comes rushing in that says The Flips had agreed to give a benefit concert. Everybody's happy, but then two guys and a girl, who look exactly like The Flips (including the guitar, the bike and the baton) burst into a jeweler's shop. Joe even sings on his board while doing this!
On the next day The Flips argue with the mayor and the police: they explain that they were kinda kidnapped after their concert and couldn't have possibly commited the crime. However, the people of Clarkston don't want accused criminals to give a concert in their town and only agree on letting them visit if the Teen Titans monitor them, who come to help at once.

Aqualad is guarding the bike, the board and the baton (I can't believe I'm actually writing this) and Kid Flash and Wonder Girl are patroling the city, but miraculously The Flips can escape, leaving only a hole in the wall, get their stuff and go on a new crime spree. And they sing the whole time!

And elsewhere:

Kid Flash follows Jack and Jill...

That last panel just cracks me up.
They do that until Aqualad is too tired and gives up. Then Wonder Girl for some reason finds The Flips sleeping in a field outside and flies them back into the town, where the TT and the police confront them. They claim that they were knocked out by some gas in the room they rehearsed in and don't know anything about the crimes. Of course the people don't believe them, but Robin has a plan!
The mayor announces to the people that due to new evidence Tthe band members are cleared and the concert will be held.
While The Flips are in the theater's dressing room, doppelgangers - surprise! - of the band appear, lock them in and go out to steal more stuff.

Whee, happy end!
