Um, wow. I mean, damn. I'm surprised this isn't getting more press, because for what seemed like such a character with great potential, to have her go out like that (and by those particular means)...crap.

Not getting a lot press because nobody believes it. DC just solicited the first two Batwoman arcs in a hardcover edition for May and Rucka/JHW III are getting a solo Batwoman title later this year. Which takes away any suspense about this so called "death" - especially since they're right next to a Lazarus Pit. But what can you do - it's Morrison, DC lets him do what he wants.

Even with the Lazarus Pit, I'm still all WTF Morrison. On the positive side, I'm off the fence as to whether to get the trade of this.
