Ikr? I love the idea of them being good buds, but I hope they resist the urge to pair them up. As much as I adore* the characters individually they aren't good for each other, and both Harry and MJ should KNOW that by now. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope the writers show a little restraint.

Him smiling at Peter/Tobey after he got amnesia in the third was the best part of the third film for me.

Basically, the only good that came out of the third film was that scene when Flint becomes Sandman and James Franco.

Was anyone else insanely creeped out by Harry in the third movie when he lost his memories and was going around all smiling and happy and stuff? Yes, it's stupid. But it's COMIC BOOK stupid. Having the villain put a Helm Of Opposite Alignment on a supporting cast character actually somehow works. Yes, it's been done before, but still. It kind of works.

I didn't mind it for a short period of time, but it's been like 4 books now with her simply being incredibly bitchy to everyone and grossly out of character that it's old. Plus not one person thinks to stop her and talk to her considering she is grossly out of character.

Why is Mary Jane calling Peter (who she thinks is at the door) "Ringo?" I suppose it would make sense if Harry were ringing the doorbell, but he's knocking.

Most interestingly, it seems that they're following movie continuity, rather than sticking to the 47 years of history that the Spider-Man comic book has, since when Harry was atop the bridge with Mary Jane, he told her than he'd never hurt her. (Sins Past is allowed to stand, yet the stories in which Gwen, Norman, and Harry died have all been farted upon with impunity. That just doesn't seem right.)

I think it's kind of funny (in a ridiculous way) that Marvel is having Peter and MJ hook up with just about every1 before they're back together. These hurdles they're placing are so goddamn forced, it reeks of sitcom style writing.

And what's even worse is that all of these hookups are meaningless plot devices since we all know the ending. I feel sorry for any1 going to get an OTP out of this.
