Date: 2010-02-18 03:13 pm (UTC)Sadly, I can see Marvel doing this. Nothing they would do to MJ would surprise me at this rate (and really the two loves of Peter's lives BOTH having kids with Osborns - YUCK!)

Date: 2010-02-18 12:39 pm (UTC)Basically, the only good that came out of the third film was that scene when Flint becomes Sandman and James Franco.

Date: 2010-02-19 01:39 am (UTC)I agree with this soo hard. The movie
may have beenwas crap but damn that scene with him picking himself together was a freakin cinematic masterpiece. It was kinda like watching Bambi trying to stand. If he discovered he was made of sand and stuff I mean.

Date: 2010-02-18 07:09 am (UTC)And I love Harry. ♥
and I wouldn't mind MJ and Harry together...they've both matured since their flimsy college days and as long as MJ ain't gonna be using Harry again, s'cool.no subject

Date: 2010-02-18 11:05 am (UTC)Yes, it's stupid. But it's COMIC BOOK stupid. Having the villain put a Helm Of Opposite Alignment on a supporting cast character actually somehow works. Yes, it's been done before, but still. It kind of works.

Date: 2010-02-18 05:26 pm (UTC)Does Harry own an original copy of ASM #42, or is it a reprint?
Most interestingly, it seems that they're following movie continuity, rather than sticking to the 47 years of history that the Spider-Man comic book has, since when Harry was atop the bridge with Mary Jane, he told her than he'd never hurt her. (Sins Past is allowed to stand, yet the stories in which Gwen, Norman, and Harry died have all been farted upon with impunity. That just doesn't seem right.)

Date: 2010-02-18 07:30 pm (UTC)And is that a great view of the Brooklyn bridge she's got there? I bet Peter just loved visiting her.

Date: 2010-02-18 10:41 pm (UTC)And what's even worse is that all of these hookups are meaningless plot devices since we all know the ending. I feel sorry for any1 going to get an OTP out of this.
