I didn't get it.
The punchline, I mean ("That's it! Cold shower for you, mister!").

Still, I really like this series.
Is it ever coming out in hard copy?

Dick's having many lower movements for a kid his age.
A HARD copy you say?

I'd love to see Black Cat's work in an actual collection. Sigh.

Amen.

I got 19.99 right now.

Y'think if enough of us pushed for it, maybe we could persuade Blackcat into a self-published collection ??

I don't think it'd be worth the legal hassle. It gets ugly.

Why can't other DC writer's just understand that is all the fans really want?

Tim's hoarding chocolate is so cute.

If it was, Tiny Titans would be doing better. It isn't.

Frankly... This is about one hundred better than Tiny Titans. I like TT okay, but I love BlackCat's stories. And would pay good money for them.

Agreed. TT is childish, this is endearing.

Yeah, this is far more character-driven etc. As weird as it is to say, it's a lot more complex.

This is several steps up in quality over Tiny Titans.

Batman and Sons has a level of characterization, relationships, multi-leveled, often very sophisticated humor and exceptional detail that I ... don't see in Tiny Titans.

I think the best part of that is either Fire's perfect Jersey Girl look... or the second panel with Booster/Beetle.

does anyone else feel like everything Black Cat does is totally superior to 90% of current DC comics?
Seriously, I'd pay big, big bucks for a collection of this, the art and the cameos and the humour and the premise and the stories...too good to be official it seems...

Speaking of cameos, I love what is offered here, Blue Beetle Ted Kord and Booster Gold crack me up, and I love the inclusion of Fire and Ice. Batgirl with braces is great too.

The thing that sells it for me are the details: Guy Gardner as a loner punk on the steps, aforementioned Booster and Ted, Tim with hilariously cute pink bags, and of course the ever smug Jason in the back seat.

Pure genius.

Does anyone NOT?

And total agreement on the details being half the fun; the age ranges of the kids at each school, Blue and Gold, the completely unrelated but spot on chocolate bar squabble in the back of the car at the end...

Okay, this Batgirl is adorkable. This comic captures and element of Barbara's character that a lot of people seem to forget: she is a huge nerd.

And awww Booster and Beetle!

Why am I imagining teenage Fire, Ice, Guy, Booster, Beetle, and possibly Batgirl in "The Breakfast Club"?

Nerd!Babs is hot. End of story.

And wee!Kory follows in the tradition of having ridiculously huge hair. And I like her dress.

Dawww, lookit Tim being all jealous he's not the youngest anymore.

(And for those who don't know, you can find more of The Black Cat's stuff here (http://the-dark-cat.livejournal.com/).)
