X-FORCE #63 had Tabitha Smith, aka Meltdown, waking up in the town of Liddleville. But no one else is around. No Lotus-Eater Machine this time.

Tabitha finds a cop. Or what she thinks is a cop.
Tabitha never struck me as the Rod Serling type.
Tabitha meets the only other person around, Dimitri Fortunov. He says he has been there for a week. Tabitha remembers that she and X-Force were in Latveria, about to invade Castle Doom. Dr. Doom had vanished after Onslaught, so all of the tech in Castle Doom was up for grabs.
Cable met up with Nathaniel Richards who is also keeping a cybernetic eye on Doom's technology.
As far as "holding cells" go, Liddleville makes sense if Doom's robot guards wanted to keep intruders "safe" before Doom could "deal" with them. The *very* interesting part is how the prisoners are given a proper "puppet" in Liddleville that looks just like them. No powers, but still.
FALL OF THE HULKS makes me wonder if Reed and Doom are stuck in non-powered Liddleville "avatars," and if they even remember how they got there. As mentioned by warpedhand, "There is no possible way that Doom doesn't know he's in his own machine."
