Scan 4 . . . she looks much younger than she probably actually is.

Aaron "The Mad Whitaker" Bourque; but then again, given the premise of Logan's Run, maybe not . . .

Early-mid teens? Her head is just huge compared to her shoulder-breadth.

Well in the last draft the JJ Abrams script the age of re-newal was lowered from 30 to 21.

Because no one wants to look at/cheer for old people.

(It just gets more and more prophetic, doesn't it?)

Well logically it has to be. Obsession with low numbers will end with the desired number being lowered.

It was 21 in the original novel. (The authors basically posited that the lowering of the average age in America, which was even at the time obviously an artifact of the Baby Boom, would continue indefinitely.)

In fairness, it was 21 in the original novel.

Yup. They also show a training seen with a young (10 yearold ?) Logan 6 being shown the six gun shootersthe original sandmen used. I sense more material from the book being used.

Francis hopes so too. From what I can tell from the first issue,they are taking from the film as well as the original book . If you read the book you have a hard time figuring out how they made the movie they did. it is very different. I am sure Box is in :)

Well, why not see for yourself? My mistake, it's only two pages but it contains about 20 pages worth of awesome.

Gods, I grew up with most of them swirling around my head too...

I remember watching the movie and at the end as all these pretty, emptyheaded young things emerge into the "real" world in their skimpy outfits, even as a 10 year old my first thought was;

"THIS is the future of makind? We are SO screwed! This lot won't last a week, never mind until the first winter comes in. What are they going to eat for one thing, none of them would know what a plough looked like, never mind what to do with one."

I'm not sure if I approve of the helmet - it's kinda cheesy - but otherwise, this looks fairly true to the visual look, at least. It captures that sort of '70's sci-fi feeling pretty well.

... Too bad this is Bluewater...after the last thread about one of their books, I've sworn off them...

... Not that they really had anything that interested me in anything other than a 'potential trainwreck' way.

Note, the last one seems to be trying to DEFEND Bluewater's practices, but admits that what's happening is happening, but is trying to spin it in the company's favour.
