I think she was just being nice by being the secretary. She figured that with the two weakest members of the JSA being one guy who's about 5 feet tall and another who dresses like he got picked on by Jimmy Olsen, they didn't need to be emasculated any further, and being Wonder Woman, she didn't need to prove anything anything, so why not.

Actually, that was probably Hawkman getting payback from her taking his seat.

"Hola, I was first here, so I'm taking the best chair. Yours."
"That's not my chair."
"What do you mean? It's the big chair at the head of the table."
No, that's where the secretary sits. You have to take the minutes."

My eye immediately travels to the first group shot (page 36), where Hawkman tells the Atom that it's "their little secret, nobody else needs to know".

Yeah, I'm goin' to hell.

It is amazing what DC editors let writers get away with on the Earth-2 books.

Hmmm. I was aware of Blue Ribbon Digest mostly through the checklist of JSA reprints that Roy Thomas presented in America Vs the JSA 1-4, but I don't think I ever saw an issue physically. Mind you we get only a trickle of US comics over here, and back issue stores are practically nonexistant.

Nonetheless, I do have this story in the original printing, and while that cover has Hitler ranting with the spear of destiny while valkyries fly at the JSA, I really envy the Perez cover.

The problem with a tag like that is it'd involve a lot of work digging up all the past entries that would qualify.
now if you wanted to make a list of all such entries, i'd certainly do my best to tag them. maybe a "theme: multiverse"?
