We all know what happened when Swamp Thing met the Floronic Man, (in case you don't it's in the tags), but what happened before, and what happens after?
This is Woodrue's version of his own origin as told to Killer Croc. From Secret Origins 23

Now it is of my opinion that none of this can be taken seriously and all this other dimension stuff is a product of Woodrue's psychosis. However, the final interpretation is up to the reader.

Left out is the fateful meeting between the good doctor and his student Pamela Isley as established 13 issues latter.

As a Bonus, here's a follow up to the Floronic Man vs. Swamp Thing fight from Swamp Thing 53. Alec is on his way to wreak havoc in Gotham City after his spouse's arrest.

I love the mention of Two-Face arguing with themselves, the agressive shouting Two=Face, the concerned lawyer Harvey.

I know, right? What I would have given to have read a Two-Face story by 80's-era Alan Moore!

Yeah no, even if Woodrue is telling the truth, I wouldn't call him a "freedom fighter", dude was a facist (I mean look at him, he couldn't be more Hitler like if he grew a mustache).

I also find it hilarious that the DC Earth is so strange people aren't sure if he's right or just crazy.

I loved this origin story; one of the best parts of it is when Croc realizes that he's getting his movement back. (He was paralyzed and helpless after Bats had hit him with nerve gas or something.) He's maintaining this whole apeshit-but-helpless facade, but his internal monologue is completely lucid.
