That's incredibly valid, however it does answer my question of Sinestro getting some Hal-Muffin...

I think Sinestro wouldn't mind. He's always liked Hal in the sidekick position.

....Hal dreams about Sinestro? As far as I'm concerned, Hal/Sinestro is cannon now.

In Hal's best of possible worlds, Sinestro never went bad. He's who people mean when they say 'greatest Green Lantern' and his relationship with Hal seemed similar to Barry and Wally on a good day (both adults but very "Ha ha! Nice one, son, but you've still a lot to learn!"). And Parallax is some guy who just looks like Hal.

Emerald Dawn, Gerard Jones retcon origin that was later retconned by Johns, also contained some..odd moments. Sinestro goes on the run from the Corps after they uncover his tyranny, but insists Hal go with him. He becomes incredibly clingy to the point that, while Hal is asleep, Sinestro charges his ring so he loses sense of the passage of time. Sinestro is angry at the Corps, but when Hal is crossexamined at the trial and admits that maybe kinda sorta Sinestro was going too far, Sinestro loses his shit.

I've been planning a post comparing that mini to the coding in Ben-Hur.

Following on the heels of the other "who is??" post above this, is the top side green lantern that robot who turned into an Alpha? And under John...Spectre? And the blue robe swirly I thought might be Saint Walker, but it seems kinda skimpy for him.

actually i think that is the lantern who either comunes with the dead, or Isolde... she has a hooded cape. and i think its the another blue lantern saint walker does not have robes... and is on earth

I like the touch of the broken stoplight in the foreground as Sinestro talks.

I can't decide if having "You were expecting somebody else?" on the covers is corny or awesome. Which probably means it's perfectly situated on the Johns' line of cornawesome.

Sinestro has become the textbook example of "Light is not Good".

It is awesome, IMO.

I think it's an excellent development. And if Johns denies Sinestro the redemption that he's been working him toward all this time, I will be MOST annoyed. It makes perfect sense for this to happen and gives Sinestro a line of development few villains have ever been allowed. After all, Sinestro is only what he is because of the multiple mistakes and lies of the Guardians. His story therefore became a tragic one. I want it made right now.

I would not buy if Sinestro went bad now. We're so far beyond that and didn't even see it happening, I think.

Get ready to stop following GL then...Sinestro is too iconic to stop being a villain. He's always had self-righteous reasons for being villainous, and that won't change. Being possessed by the avatar of life might make him nicer though.

The big gelatinous thing with bones all in it reminds me of one of the shadow dragons from Narutaru. Which is kind of awesome. I'd like to see one of the Otohime from that series as a Green Lantern (particularly the main one).

That Star Sapphire's six-pack is so exaggerated, it looks like some sort of abdomen-mouth, or maybe a really extended vajayjay.
