Two stories from X-Men Unlimited v2 6 and 12 featuring the respective love lives of Kitty Pyrde and Wolverine.



From X-Men Unlimited 06, three and a third pages of an eleven page story. The story was written by Tony Bedard and drawn by Paul Pelletier.









She goes on to note that it was mainly their best date because it was the only one they went on that wasn't interrupted by supervillains or something of that ilk. And, for the record, the dress does turn out to have belonged to Storm.

From X-Men Unlimited 12, three and a half pages of an eleven page story. This story was written by Stuart Moore and drawn by C. P. Smith. The premise is that Wolverine is attacked and injured by a group of wolves. The story is his thoughts as he recovers.

Don't worry Logan, once Jean comes back from the death (again) she'll be free of Scott and maybe you two can resolve that sexual tension that's being going on for God knows how long.

Huh. I always thought they had some closure (and by closure I meant some action) at some point in Marvel continuity. I assume (non-Marvel reader here) that with so many X-books around, you'd figure at least in one of them they did the deed.

Nope. Kissing and groping but never the deed - except in the Ultimate Universe where they were sleeping together (when she was only 19) by issue #5 (having met just a few issues earlier) but she dumped him when she found out he infiltrated the X-Men to kill Xavier (though he no longer wanted to) and returned her attentions to Scott. Logan then basically let/caused Scott to "die" on a mission so he could have Jean to himself but when Scott made his way back Jean told Ultimate Wolverine that if she ever even had a single romantic thought about her again she would know and blink out of existence. Honestly (and I say this as someone who likes Jean and Scott together so I'm biased) once you take away the unresolved sexual tension between Jean and Logan and they actually did have sex, that would pretty much be it and it would end quickly IMO.
