Juggernaut isn't a mutant? I know he got his current powers through magical means, but I thought he had the X-gene and some sort of power before.

Especially since Scott let Danger and Omega Sentinel, two non-mutants (who tried to kill mutants no-less) join. Oh, and Namor and Warlock, who are mutants but who aren't offshoots from the human species.

Namor is technically a human mutant because of his winged feet which comes from his human father. Plus Marvel consider him the "First Mutant" I think that cements his status as a mutant.

Yes, if you're not a mutant don't dream of being part of the X-Men. It's not like their whole ideal is peaceful coexistence.

I'm not sure why everyone is upset. Its not like Storm or the others are telling her to GTFO. They're saying they don't care one or the other if she is a mutant. As for Nemesis, he's a dick to everyone, but I don't think he cares either.

Yeah--I think Dagger's the only one who really feels disapointed about her not having the X-Gene.

I don't think that, but still, finding out you aren't a real mutant when you thought you were and had found a community of other mutants would be a bit of a downer.

Man, I had been wondering why you never see the Black Panther help out on his wife's team, given his resources, his vast intellect and the fact that he never seems to have any problem dropping everything to come hang-out with the Avengers.

Obviously it's all because the X-Men look down on him for being a filthy human.

Hey, they wont even give us the Cure for cancer (which STILL galls me, seriously Hudlin, eff you), and you want Black Panther to actually help out Mutants? UNTHINKABLE!

I'm actually more annoyed about Hudlin establishing that that whole super-advanced-but-isolatonist, doesn't-get-involved-in-neighbouring-countries thing so Wakanda could spend decades ignoring the things going on around it in Rwanda. And Somalia. And Sudan. And Ethiopia. And Uganda. And So Forth.

And then Katrina hits New Orleans and Hudlin has T'Challa fly off to rescue the city.

Seriously, Panther could just run roughshod over every petty warlord within a thousand mile radius (I mean seriously, dude has an anti gun machine, who the hell could stop him). He could turn Africa into a major world power overnight, make Europe their little bitches if they like.

But noooo, can't do that, Reed Richards has to stay useless. Rassum Frassum comics.

And that could make for an interesting story--Black Panther: Ruler of Africa.

If he did that then the villians would scale up. Let's keep Doom in his little pissing match with supers and not politically dominating Europe thank you.

Okay, that is just a lame ass excuse right there. Firstly, why the fuck would Dr. Doom care what Black Panther does. Secondly, He's freaking Dr. Doom, he's conquered the world like five or six times already! Its not like this would be anything new. Thirdly, when super villains start conquering countries, that's when SUPER HEROES get involved. You know, Super Heroes? The guys who fight super villains? They still do that right?

These are the same X-Men who kicked one of their own to the curb after M-Day because she was depowered. I wouldn't put it past them.

They have a long, long history of failing at intersectionality. Their original mission statement read "Sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them, and to fail at intersectionality." If the engraver didn't charge by the letter, it'd STILL say that.
