Nah, every B&C-Lister gets to beat up the Wrecking Crew at least once, it's in their contract now. They're Marvel's official punching bags, which is weird since they used to be serious villains but also great since they're fucking stupid.

Yeah, either the Wrecking Crew or the Absorbing Man... which means at some point early in their career heroes must face ex cons carrying large metal balls on the end of long chains...

Maybe it's the super hero version of one those weird hazing rituals. You're not allowed into the club house until a bunch of bald guys with anger managemernt issues beat on you with a ball on a chain.

Afterwards, Cap slips Crusher Creel twenty bucks, pats him on the back and whispers: "Good job, son."
