Blah blah, heroes win, white light brings back a bunch of people, starting with most (if not all) of the guys who died during the event, such as the Hawks.  Then there's the big return everyone was expecting out of this:




Martian Manhunter's back, as is Firestorm (both of them; seemingly Ronnie and Jason are now the two halves of the Firestorm persona).  Next up:




And Deadman is alive now (he's pretty sure that's not supposed to happen).

This group were singled out by a group of white rings to be resurrected; it's not clear why yet, but one assumes there's a story there (the book ends with the appearance of a white power battery).

Only those characters that editors and writers wanted to invest time into for future stories got to come back. If every single person got revived, well, that just wouldn't work out. Or something. Plus the characters get to wonder why some didn't come back.

It makes sense from an editorial standpoint.
