From the Moon to the Earth
Mar. 31st, 2010 04:38 pmFour scans from Fantastic Four #577 and from from She-Hulk Sensational (the Brian Reed part, to be very clear).
The fourth "Prime Elements" issue sees our heroes go the the Moon, where, months after the departure of the Inhumans, a big colony ship has arrived. They meet the one Inhuman that Black Bolt left behind, who was ordered to summon the others: the others being the four other Inhuman civilizations (the products of Kree experimentation on other worlds; similar to the Celestials' Human/Deviant/Eternal thing being duplicated elsewhere). There are four races of Inhumans, and the Four meet them in council:

Guess where?
The Four are told to return home and herald Black Bolt's coming arrival.
As to the queens, at least one of those looks like a keeper, if I were Black Bolt, but I'm not sure about the others.
Elsewhere, it's She-Hulk's 30th anniversary; she's between regular gigs at the moment, so she got a special with stories by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Posted and Brian Reed (as well as a Byrne-era reprint; the one with the jump-rope).
Reed's story is a superhero team-up, though it's not very She-Hulk-centred, honestly. Good fun, nonetheless. Our three heroes are She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel (of course), and Spider....Veranke, I guess, given that this is set before "Secret Invasion" (back when Jen was still a lawyer). Both Jen and Carol are investigating a bank robbery by a group of HYDRA goons, which was seemingly led by Jessica Drew (though of the two, only Carol knows this). Obligatory superhero fight:

Another "Carol vs. Car", for those keeping track.
The ladies then see Spider-Veranke, and go after her. Jen knocks her out.

Long story short, Spider-Veranke explains the plot, and they all go infiltrate a nightclub where the HYDRA boss is (he's got a reasonably novel power; a superpowered evil shadow that can only be brought out with a special sort of light). Once they're surrounded, they decide they've got all the info they need, so it's transforming time; I liked the rendition of it here.

Like I said before, it's sort of an odd choice for a She-Hulk story (Carol feels more like the lead, if anyone is), but it's a nice done-in-one. I like the art, too.
