Date: 2010-04-02 01:03 am (UTC)Hal Jordan, who went evil at about the same time, had a series where he tried to redeem himself, had a series introducing a retcon that removed, or at least lessened, his culpability, and still isn't trusted by a lot of people.
Captain Atom, who was evil for about a year - and that period was half-removed from continuity even as it was happening - required a running retcon, a brief period of re-earning trust, and even feels guilt about what he did, even with the 'not in his right mind' retcon.
Hawk...well, it's possible they'll actually deal with his time as Extant, but there's no sign of that in his scenes in this issue. He looks to be a bit angrier than usual when Don or Dawn are around, but still not outside his heroic psychopath period. The other villains are acknowledged as villains - Guy attempts to arrest Max, Captain Boomerang is about to take a shot at Flash, when he puts his lights out (distracting him from arresting Zoom). Hawk...just gets angry at not knowing what's going on.
