Superfamily Superness!

My week has been absolute crap and today was set to be even worse (I teach fourth grade...they love April Fools) when I opened my inbox to see my commission from the Black Cat! After my last commission was posted here before I saw it I made extra sure I could share my glee directly with you myself. Because I have so little joy in my life (see above re: fourth graders)

Here goes!



I had asked for a Superfamily portrait with the only specifications be that Kon be in his t-shirt/jeans uniform and Chris be a kid as I imagined Kon picking on him big-brother style. And I am blown away with the awesomeness of this. It has Clark and Lois being adorable and all family with Chris, and Kara is apparently the prankster in the Superclan. :D She also hinted that there might someday in the future be a Batman and Sons Superman and family portrait, so that's something to look forward to.

For legality, here is the scene from Superman: Last Son where Lois goes from "he's a kid from Krypton and we can't be his parents" to "roar he's my baby."

The look of horror on Chris' face in the legality scan is impressive too. Also makes me sad we lost this Chris to make way for the adult version. Seeing Clark and Lois being parents was fun.

That pic looks so cute and I love little Chris and I almost wish we had him back instead of this whole Nightwing/Flamebird hubbaloo.

Hopefully after everything is said and done Chris is magically is reborn as a kid, then again after what happened to Lian I'm kind of scared someone in DC might decide to off him as a kid.
