Official: The DC Universe a piece of crap

No, that's not some not-so-clever attempt at a jab against some latest DC development. I'm referring to a plot point in the latest issue (#9) of Doom Patrol, which remains a great read.

So the bad guys, the Pan-Dimensional Gentrifiers, are after Danny the Brick (formerly Danny the World).



In case it's too small to read, the text Danny's displaying reads: Mmm. World War One chic. Quite dashing.







The Gentrifiers are preparing to take over the Earth (or possibly the universe; it's not clear), when they run a property viability assessment. They decide they don't want it after all.


All those Crises and mega-events were good for something!

It's kind of hard to describe, but Danny was full of macho, manly shops, like ammo stores and mens outfitters, but is always window dressed in feminine style.

Not really. It's a normal sized brick, it didn't grow or shrink with her. Might be a little uncomfortable, depending on how the costume stretches, but nothing that bad.
