Three pages from Magog #8

Remember this guy?

Axel's gone off to investigate that sentient computer virus thing in Kansas, from last issue. His investigation led him to an army camp and the Shield.

Cue the obvious Captain Planet jokes.
Anyway, something they keep referring to as the mass (or the Mass, maybe, with a capital M?) is heading towards Earth. It's tied to the "killer app" virus Axel's looking into.

He brings up the subject of Earth's superheroes, and then the comic segues to a different scene.
***
I really don't like this artist's work, though I can't quite place my finger on why. For some reason, it feels like you're watching a movie where everyone's over-acting. Does anyone else see it?

Date: 2010-04-15 10:12 am (UTC)I really hope DC lets Giffen play with more of their space heroes since that Planeteers scene wasn't half bad and look at how Cosmic!Marvel is after Annihilation.
