What they did was they tried to take all the magic and contain it and that's what created the Starheart.

Yea, but it could be a retcon, like what Predator and Parallax were before John's revision. And since the Starheart was created by the guardians' attempt to control magic, it maybe an emotion-entity, like how Red Lanterns were form from the sector 666 disaster. Maybe his is the embodiment for imagination, something that would hinder one's will or something like that.

I approve of the emphasis on the word "trying" in "the new Robin goes about proving how wrong Tim was by trying to beat the crap out of him!"

It's sad, not even Marcus To can make me like the Red Robin costume with it's over-abundance of belt straps and ugly cowl.

And Deathstoke vs someone with, essentially, the powers of Black Adam? Even for Slade that's going to be something of a challenge.

Deathstroke vs Osiris ends one of two ways.

1) Deathstroke mops the floor with the kid.
2) Osiris yells BLACK ADAM and flash fries Deathstroke.

Regardless, "fight of the century" isn't what I'd use to describe it.

My main thought was that attempting to make sure he didn't hurt him to bad might make him clumsy. Easy to avoid.

I'm kind of hoping that's how it goes (assuming Slade has to win/survive for more than five seconds), Slade taking advantage of the fact that Osiris is being overly cautious (as to not punch a hole though Deathstroke's head). Though I kinda like the idea of Osiris getting the old guy in a full nelson and insisting he tap out. If the opposite happens (Slade gets Osiris riled so he makes 'stupid mistakes') I hope it ends with Slade getting an arm ripped off and realizing he's made a pretty dire miscalculation (as Osiris apologizes profusely in the background).

Maybe Slade lost his other eye and is now wearing a glass eye to fool everyone?

Well I think it's only easily visible when the image is over the iris and pupil, since the rest of the eye is white. The cornea reflects the light that doesn't hit it at the proper angle, the pupil is just the hole in the eye and the iris I don't believe is mirror reflective. In any case the image we see wouldn't be as clear and distinct as shown on the cover. Its perspective would also be skewed by the shape of the eye. It's more like "light doesn't work that way" than anything.

Osiris vs. Deathstroke. Oh, please. I smell DC making yet another Marvel Family member job again to make a villain look good. There was no way in heck that Deathstroke (even the hax Identity Crisis version that can seemingly take on and defeat the JLA single-handily) stands a chance with someone with the power of Shazam. Osiris can break apart Slade's body with just one punch. Just look at Black Adam and Terra Man in 52.

As for TIm/Damien, I'll take Tim any day of the week. Damien is not as smart as he thinks he is - but Tim is.

I guess I'm the only one looking at Slade/Osiris and thinking Batman/Superman. Or more like Batman/Superboy. Though I guess there isn't a Shazam version of kryptonite. He'd have to, I don't know, trick the boy into saying "Black Adam" then hit him in the throat or something.

Considering its only a matter of time before they're back (Black Adam being a favorite Geoff Johns character), if Deathstroke causes any permanent harm to Osiris he'll have to face the wrath of Black Adam (who literally killed millions with his bare hands) and a vengeful Isis - both of them have no compunction about taking a life of someone who hurts one of their own. I would hope Slade is not that stupid.

Tim and Tam is just too nauseating to write, let alone read. There is no GOOD reason why Tim couldn't get back together with Steph, IMO. Dating doesn't mean surgically conjoined. They could still carry separate books.
