Hmmm...I'd have to argue the Metamorpho bit. He never DIED just got dispersed and later put back together. By that logic Plasticman would've been dead too. (Or almost every JLA member given the whole Atlantis story arc where everyone died)

He died in the Outsiders series actually, and was revived by the Gene Bomb.

I would've loved to see Ragman show up and do some stuff, maybe team up with P.S. or some other magician-type hero. Ragman's cool.

And actually... Metamorpho wound up in the that coma when the JLA *Satellite* exploded.

Because when the satellite was destroyed (by White Martians), that kicked off Morrison's run. With the satellite destroyed, they needed a base, so in issue 4, they built the Watchtower on the moon.

Plus, as pointed out, he never actually died. Johns is usually better with continuity than that.

And...Ragman's suit might react but not like that to the Black Rings. His suit holds the souls not bodies of people. And they made a point that the rings had no connection to the souls of the dead.

I was gonna say almost the exact same thing. Where's Mitch now, anyway? I saw him in that drawn-out SUPERGIRL CAN'T CURE A KID'S CANCER storyline, and then nothin' before or after.

Not seen him since. At the end of his run, they started mucking about with his backstory and took a lot of fun out of the character, then he faded out.

One of those obscure chars I personally enjoy, like Gabriel Walker.

I love that first part on the director's commentary page. All the guys are just like, "Yeah, gatefolds rock! WOO, gatefolds! We had so much fun making this gatefold!" Buncha nerds. :D

They put full names for most Lanterns, but decided to ignore Bart and Barry in that regard?

It's not like they were named for one of the Apostles, no... *sigh* apparently it's up to the fans to remember that.

That's pretty funny. Really dark, but funny.

Those guys are pure Z-list. And that's what makes the scene so funny, in both a fictional and meta context.

Yeah, I would have read the heck out of that and then the Ragman thing.

The Ragman story was *harsh*.

I was slightly disappointed that Kilowog doesn't have a unique costume, but he does have a standard GL costume, so I guess it makes sense. Metamorpho's looks awesome though, and yet again unique.
