There are a lot of excellent parts (the Carter/Ollie fight, how Powergirl punches a drunk Wildcat out of the window) but I only posted the Batman ones . I know it's not thanksgiving yet, but this was such an nice issue  that I couldn't resist posting it.

These are 7 pages from Justice Society of America # 54.

Oh, gotta love that smile. He could have  shaved, though, but I guess he doesn't care. After all it's not like he wants to be there.

Actually, it's Pieter/Doctor Mid-Nite who covers the monitor duty. With Dinah, which makes the situation awkward because she's just ditched him to be with Ollie, who's also attending the meeting (actually, he's the only one not wearing his costume). Batman tries to take over monitor duty but he's forced to go back to "enjoy" the food. Which of course, puts him in a bad mood.

Barging into a JLA/JSA meeting AND messing up PowerGirl's hair? Oh, guys, you're so gonna regret this.
33 minutes of super beating can really last a lifetime.

And just because I like the food+Batman theme, here is one of the rare bat-related pages from BiggerThanCheese.

Gotta admit that I'd cry too if I had to eat brussel sprouts...

Why wouldn't they take the breadsticks? Breadsticks are awesome! And they're free!

Because everyone ends up fighting over them, of course. And with superheroes, a fight over bread sticks can end up doing serious property damage.

Batman separates them before they could punch each other. Too bad.

I think there is a two-pages fight in some Hawkman issue. Ollie accuses Carter of being a creepy old dude who lusts after a poor innocent 20 years old (Kendra). That he's just obsessed and knows nothing about love. Of course, Carter punches him hard after that. I can post the scans if you want.

Awesome.

And on a sidenote..as much as I love GA, doubt he's one to talk about lusting after young women. As for Carter..he's stingy..couldn't let Roy have her. Gotta go after every woman with a Hawk in her name. Just sayin.

God, getting food on yourself during a meal is always icky.

I'm always amused at the dickishness of the JLSA and JLA having a kids table.

Poor Courtney, getting stuck at a table with Jakeem and Bart. And I always laugh when she looks at Captain Marvel and says "YOU should be at the kids table."

Hmm, who's the vegetarian pizza for? I presume Diana and Jennie?

I'm not one to comment on this usually, mainly because I don't care, but dayum! Her breasts are bigger than Diana's head in this. I don't know why I needed to point this out. Maybe it's the Thanksgiving theme that had me thinking about breasts.

Also, Bats was just so ... Bats in this. I loved it.

Mary Poppins could do it with a click of her fingers, I am pretty sure that an "accomplished sorcerer" (thanks wiki!) could re-form a dinner.

Aw, I so miss Bart as Impulse. Yeah, foul language is going to be even more out now that Barry is back. XD

I know who the veggie pizza is for. Wonder if she has to share with anyone else.

Love superhero parties. I think Terrific should set it up every year just to show Bruce that it can happen. No matter how many years it takes. XD

So Buddy who channels animals and Diana who talks to animals split the green pepper, onions and olives. Now I wonder what Vixen and B'wana Beast like on their pizza. Although I actually still can't see Diana of Themyscira looking for nuts and berries while Conan of Cimmeria, Kull of Atlantis, and Fafhrd of the Snow Clan are roasting a carcass on a spit.

The thing that made me laugh the most, for that whole Thanksgiving scene, is that the two supervillains think that, maybe if they just sneak away quietly, nobody will notice they were there ^_^.

And oh Bruce. You probably invited them to crash the party just for the sake of saying "I told you so" to Michael afterwards. hehehe.
