This small era of Avengers started off so well... but it went downhill ever since Herc died. I know he barely got any lines (though every line he god was gold I tell you gold), Slott occationally forgot he wasn't suposed to sound like a bad Shakespere impersonation sometimes, wasn't the focus of a single storyline, but you can't deny that the series went to shit at the same time Herc died.

Goshdarn, even if the "political marriage" and.. everything else here wasn't so skeevy, marriage =/= "access past your firewalls to all of your secure files". That, as a necessity rather than a personal choice, is a level of gross that makes me worry about real life issues.

Loki may or may not have died saving the heroes from CrabVoid. We see him get fried in a panel, but not the after-effects. And Jan's body is still existing as a dimension, but with the infinite mansion mostly cut off from that and most of Jocasta's extra bodies destroyed, whatever plan was in place to make Jan human again, or give her a human avatar, or whatever, has been effectively deep-sixed. With Ultron no longer electronically infecting her other selves, though, Jocasta got her body-hopping ability back, so now she can exist in the alter-dimension with her "husband" and still be backup for the Avengers at the same time.
