G.I. Joe #155 1/2
May. 1st, 2010 03:35 pmFor Free Comic Book Day, IDW released G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #155 1/2, a prologue of sorts to the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero series proper, whose first issue will be #156. The series is in the same vein as Marvel's recent "Forever" books, in that it's Larry Hama continuing where he left off all those years ago, as if the intervening comics never happened.

Eight* pages under the cut...
A militia called the Broken Star Liberation Army, whose members are fighting for deregulation, the abolition of taxes, and a completely unfettered free market economy, have attacked various national landmarks.

Someone was watching.

*I'm assuming the rules for Free Comic Book Day comics this year are the same as last year's.
