Part 2 of "Rose Red," in which we get Willingham's spin on the folk tale of Snow White and Rose Red...

The dwarf's power is in his beard. Now that he's been trimmed, he's powerless, and the bear shows up and decapitates him.

And that was the day Rose Red lost her sister.

Date: 2010-05-14 10:50 pm (UTC)Having Snow White in Fables be the Snow White from both German tales has always been something that I needed Bill Willingham to explain, because they really don't work together unless you know in which ways he's edited them together. Particularly, I need to know how Snow White can have a loving mother in one story and an evil Stepmother in another.
So I'm excited that he's finally explaining how that's all possible. I'm sure (if this first part is any indication) he'll do it in typical Fables style.
